Hotel software pricing for small hotels in 2026: SMRTROOM vs Sirvoy, Little Hotelier, Cloudbeds, Mews and Beds24

Published 24 October 2026 · SMRTROOM team

Short answer: for a 16-room hotel, SMRTROOM Starter costs €29 per month with three staff logins and an AI-assistant integration included. Sirvoy Starter costs about the same (€30) but has a single login; the Sirvoy plan with team logins and a channel manager is €109. Little Hotelier Pro is $269 per month. Cloudbeds and Mews only quote on request. If you need a channel manager or online payments, SMRTROOM is not the right tool yet; if you want a simple, flat-priced system your whole team can use, it has the lowest fixed price in this comparison for a team of three.

How we compared. We run a 16-room hotel in Budva, Montenegro, so we priced every product for 16 rooms, monthly billing, on each vendor’s own public pricing page on 24 October 2026. Prices exclude VAT unless stated. Vendors change prices often. Follow the source links before you decide. SMRTROOM is our product; we have tried to state where competitors are stronger as plainly as where we are.

What a small team actually pays

Most small hotels have more than one person at the desk: the owner, a manager, someone on the night shift, a housekeeper who marks rooms clean. That is where list prices stop telling the whole story.

  • SMRTROOM: €29 per month covers 16 rooms and three separate logins with their own permissions. The same price applies at 5 rooms or 20 rooms.
  • Sirvoy: the €30 Starter plan has one login; giving staff their own accounts means moving to Pro at €109 for 16 rooms.
  • Little Hotelier: $269 per month for 16 rooms, with a channel manager and booking engine included.
  • Cloudbeds and Mews: built for hotels that also want payments, distribution and revenue tools in one contract. You need a sales call to get a price.

Over a year on monthly billing that is €348 for SMRTROOM Starter (€290 if paid yearly), €1,308 for Sirvoy Pro and $3,228 for Little Hotelier Pro, before tax. The more expensive plans include a channel manager; SMRTROOM does not. Beds24 can come out lower for some setups; its total depends on its own calculator (per-room fee, channel links and €2 per extra user).

Where SMRTROOM is the better fit

  • You want one clear calendar with no double bookings. The server locks each room per night, so two reservations can never overlap in the same room, even when two people save at the same moment. Capacity is checked too.
  • You reshuffle rooms a lot. Drag a stay to another room, park several stays in the waiting area while you reorganise, then apply every move at once. The available-rooms panel shows which rooms are free for the whole stay and which become free with a swap, so empty nights between bookings get sold.
  • You want invoices and vouchers without extra software. One click from a reservation, sequential invoice numbers, automatic tourist tax, print or save as PDF.
  • You want to manage the hotel through an AI assistant. SMRTROOM has an MCP server and a REST API, so an assistant such as Claude Desktop or Cursor can add bookings, find free rooms and summarise the day in plain language. During early access we set the connection up together with you. See how the AI integration works.
  • You want a price you can predict. Flat €29 or €59 per month, 30-day free trial without a card, data export (JSON and CSV) at any time.

Where another tool is the better fit

  • You need a channel manager. SMRTROOM does not sync availability with Booking.com, Airbnb or Expedia; reservations from those channels are entered by hand or through the API. If you sell on several OTAs and need two-way sync, look at Sirvoy Pro, Little Hotelier, Beds24, Cloudbeds or Mews.
  • You want to take card payments inside the PMS. SMRTROOM has no payment gateway yet.
  • You run a group of hotels with revenue management. Mews and Cloudbeds are built for that scale.

Questions

What is the cheapest hotel management software for a small hotel?

For a single user, Sirvoy Starter (€22–€30 for 8–20 rooms) and SMRTROOM Starter (€29 flat up to 20 rooms) are the cheapest paid options in this comparison with a published price; Beds24 starts lower (€15.50 plus a per-room fee) but its total depends on its calculator. If you need more than one staff login, SMRTROOM Starter includes three users at the same €29, while Sirvoy needs its Pro plan.

Is there a free trial?

SMRTROOM: 30 days, all features, no card. Sirvoy: 14 days. Little Hotelier: 30 days (per its pricing page). Beds24: free trial, no card.

Does SMRTROOM work with Booking.com?

Not automatically. There is no channel manager; you enter or import OTA reservations yourself, and the calendar then protects you from overbooking those rooms with direct bookings.

Which languages does SMRTROOM support?

SMRTROOM supports multiple languages; each user picks their own, and documents can be printed in the guest’s language.

Try it on your own rooms: start the 30-day free trial or see pricing. Questions: info@smrtroom.com.
